Bindings connect your server to Roblox and assign Discord roles automatically. Group binds link your Roblox groups, and role bindings give members Discord roles based on their Roblox rank, gamepasses, assets, or badges. Open Roblox > Bindings in the sidebar. Group connections and role bindings live together here, and each binding auto-detects its type.

Connect a group

1

Add a group

Click Add Group and enter your Roblox Group ID.
2

Find the ID

Open your group page on Roblox. The ID is in the URL, for example roblox.com/groups/123456789.
3

Connect

Confirm. The group’s name, member count, and ranks load in.
You can connect several groups, for your main game group, alliance groups, or a separate staff group.
Removing a group also removes every role binding attached to it.

How bindings apply

When a member verifies, Technified checks every binding and assigns the matching roles. On re-verification, bindings are evaluated again: new qualifications add roles, and lost qualifications can remove them.

Best practices

  • Match Discord roles to Roblox ranks in a way that reads clearly.
  • Avoid overlapping bindings that fight over the same role.
  • Review bindings when your group structure changes, and remove outdated ones.

Troubleshooting

The member may not meet the rule, or may not be verified. Check the binding configuration.
Look for overlapping bindings and confirm your rank ranges are correct.
The group may need API credentials. Try reconnecting it and check its visibility.
