Server Dashboard

The Server Dashboard is the admin control center for Technified. It’s where server administrators select which server they want to manage and access all configuration options.

What is the Server Dashboard?

The Server Dashboard is specifically for users who have administrative permissions on Discord servers using Technified. It shows only servers where you have “Administrator” permissions. This is different from the Account Manager, which shows all servers you’re a member of for personal verification management.
To access the Server Dashboard, you must have admin permissions on at least one server with Technified installed.

Server Selection

The Dashboard displays a grid of servers you can manage:

Server Cards

Each server is shown as a card with:
  • Server Icon — The server’s avatar/logo (or Discord logo if none set)
  • Server Name — Full name of the Discord server
  • Quick Access — Click any card to open that server’s settings

Understanding Permissions

Why Some Servers Don’t Appear

The Dashboard only shows servers where you have management capabilities. This is intentional security: Permission Requirements:
  • You need “Administrator” permission
  • Server owner can grant these permissions in Discord’s Server Settings → Roles
  • Without these permissions, you cannot configure Technified
Why This Matters:
  • Prevents unauthorized configuration changes
  • Ensures only trusted members can modify settings
  • Protects server integrity and security

Checking Your Permissions

To see if you have the right permissions:
  1. Open Discord
  2. Go to the server in question
  3. Check your role permissions:
    • Right-click the server icon
    • Select “Privacy Settings” or check your role in Server Settings
    • Look for “Administrator”

Server Status Indicators

Currently, all servers in your Dashboard are equally accessible. There are no special status badges or indicators — if a server appears here, you can manage it.

Future Enhancements

Planned features for the Dashboard:

Setup Status

Visual indicators showing configuration completeness

Member Count

How many members are in each server

Verification Rate

Percentage of verified members

Recent Activity

Last time settings were modified

Multiple Servers

If you manage multiple servers:
  • All appear in the Dashboard grid
  • Click between them to switch configuration contexts
  • Each server has independent settings
  • Changes to one server don’t affect others

Bookmarking

For faster access to frequently-managed servers:
  • Open a server’s settings page
  • Bookmark the URL in your browser
  • The URL format is /server/{server_id}/settings
  • Return directly to that server’s settings anytime

Dashboard vs. Account Manager

Understanding the difference is key:

Account Manager

Purpose: Personal verification management For: All members, including regular users Shows: All servers you’re a member of Features:
  • Verify your Roblox account
  • Add verification to servers
  • Unlink from servers
  • View verification status
Access: Just need to be a server member

Troubleshooting

If you expect to see a server but don’t:Check Bot Installation
  • Confirm Technified is actually added to the server
  • Look for the bot in the member list
  • Try re-inviting the bot if needed
Verify Your Permissions
  • Check you have “Administrator” role
  • Ask the server owner to verify your permissions
  • Permissions might have been recently changed
Refresh Your Session
  • Log out of Technified completely
  • Wait 30 seconds
  • Log back in
  • Permissions can take a moment to sync
Clear Cache
  • Try opening Dashboard in incognito/private browsing mode
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Sometimes old cached data causes display issues
If clicking a server doesn’t work:
  • Check your internet connection
  • Try a different browser
  • Disable browser extensions that might interfere
  • Clear browser cache
  • Try accessing directly via /server/{guild_id}/settings
If a server you managed is gone:
  • Your permissions may have been removed
  • The server owner might have changed your role
  • The bot might have been removed from the server
  • The server itself might have been deleted
To Confirm:
  • Check if you still have admin permissions in Discord
  • Look for the bot in the Discord server’s member list
  • Contact the server owner for clarification
