General Settings Reference

Complete guide to all settings in the General Settings section of your server configuration.

Role Configuration

Verified Role

What it does: Discord role given to users after successful verification How to use:
  1. Create a role in Discord (e.g., @Verified)
  2. Select it in General Settings
  3. Users get this role after /verify
Give this role access to your main server channels. Unverified users won’t be able to see them.

Unverified Role

What it does: Discord role for users who haven’t verified yet How to use:
  1. Create a role (e.g., @Unverified)
  2. Select it in General Settings
  3. New members get this role automatically
  4. Role is removed after verification
Use this with channel permissions to create a “verification-only” channel where unverified users must go to verify.

Nickname Settings

Update Nickname on Verification

What it does: Automatically changes Discord nickname to Roblox username
When user verifies:
  • Discord nickname changes to Roblox username
  • Updates automatically if Roblox username changes
  • Makes it easy to identify members
Example:
  • Discord: “CoolGuy123”
  • Roblox: “BuilderPro”
  • Nickname becomes: “BuilderPro”
Permission Required: Technified must have “Manage Nicknames” permission and its role must be higher than the target user’s highest role.

Nickname Format

Options:
  • {roblox_username} - Just the Roblox username
  • {roblox_display_name} - Roblox display name
  • [{rank}] {roblox_username} - Include rank number
  • Custom format (coming soon)
