General

Technified is a System that connects Discord servers with Roblox. It provides:
  • Roblox account verification
  • Automatic role assignment based on Roblox groups
  • Staff activity tracking in games
  • Group management from Discord
Yes! Technified is a free service. We may introduce premium features in the future, but core functionality will always be free.
No. Technified is a closed-source hosted service. We handle all hosting, updates, and maintenance for you.

Bot components work fully on Mobile, but the dashboard and homepage have not yet been optimised.

Verification

Verification links your Discord account to your Roblox account. This allows:
  • Automatic role assignment
  • Access to server channels
  • Staff tracking (if applicable)
  • Group management features
Yes! We use Roblox’s official OAuth 2.0 system. We never see your password, and you can revoke access anytime in Roblox settings. or if you wanna use the old way you can verify yourself with Bio code.
No, you can only link a Roblox account to a Discord account. There is currently no alt account support.
Use /reverify to remove the verification, then /verify with your new account. Or use /reverify to switch directly.
No. Once verified, you’re verified permanently unless you unlink. Roles update automatically as your Roblox ranks change.

Role Bindings

Role Bindings: Roblox → Discord (gives Discord roles based on Roblox rank)Group Binds: Discord → Roblox (assigns Roblox rank based on Discord role)Most servers use Role Bindings. Group Binds are for advanced automation.
  • Manual sync (/sync): Instant
  • Force sync (admin): Instant
Yes! If you’re in multiple Roblox groups, you can get roles from each group’s bindings simultaneously.

Commands

  • Just invited bot: Wait 5-10 minutes
  • Commands not showing: Restart Discord
  • Still not working: Check bot has necessary permissions
Slash commands cache in Discord and may take time to appear.
Commands can be restricted to specific roles. Check with your server admin if a command is restricted.
Most commands only work in servers, not DMs.
Some commands have anti-spam cooldowns. Wait 30-60 seconds and try again.

Staff Tracking

  1. Install Technified Tracker Loader in your Roblox game
  2. Configure staff roles in Dashboard
  3. Setup the configuration loader file
  4. When staff join your game, sessions are logged automatically
  5. View activity in Dashboard

Yes! Tracking works in all server types: public, private, VIP, and reserved. (a configuration may to implemented in the future to restrict it to your desires)
No. For privacy, only configured staff members are tracked.
Minimal impact. The tracker is optimized and uses caching. Most games won’t notice any difference.

Security & Privacy

We store:
  • Discord user ID
  • Roblox user ID
  • Verification timestamp
  • Role binding data
  • Staff activity logs (if tracking enabled)
We do NOT store:
  • Passwords
  • Personal messages
  • Browser history
Yes. Use /unlink to remove verification data. For complete data deletion, contact support.
Yes. We use OAuth 2.0—we never see your password. You authorize specific permissions, which you can revoke anytime in Roblox settings.
  • Your linked account: Server admins with “Manage Server” permission
  • Your activity logs: Staff with appropriate permissions
  • Other members: Only what Discord normally shows (username, roles)
API keys are encrypted at rest. However, treat them like passwords:
  • Never share publicly
  • Don’t commit to Git
  • Rotate regularly
  • Revoke if compromised

Dashboard

You need “Administrator” permission in Discord to access the server dashboard.Regular members can use the Account Manager to manage their personal verification.

Yes! All users with “Administrator” permission can access and modify settings.
Yes! Most changes apply immediately. Role updates may take a few seconds to propagate.

Limits & Restrictions

There’s no hard limit, but we recommend keeping it under 50 bindings per server for optimal performance. (limit will be added on a update most likely)
Maximum 3 API keys per server.
You can connect multiple groups. There’s no set limit. (limit will be added on a update most likely)
No. Technified works with servers of any size, from small communities to large servers with 100,000+ members.
Yes. To prevent abuse:
  • /sync: 60 second cooldown
  • /verify: 30 second cooldown
  • API requests: 100 requests/minute per server
Normal usage won’t hit these limits.

No. We test extensively and maintain backward compatibility. Updates are seamless. (if a broken version would be deployed we will undo these version of course)
